At the start of each year, as a spiritual family, we would come together for a time of prayer and fasting. As always, God would move in the lives of people. Each year would always have its own stories. Here are a couple of testimonies we would like to share to you from this year’s seven days of fasting.

- During the Christmas break, Jobe lost lab equipment worth twenty thousand pesos. Someone had stolen it. A leader in church encouraged him to pray that God would bring it back. He prayed, and early this year during the fast, the equipment was returned by a stranger.

- Amelia’s hand was swelling sometime during the fast. After receiving prayer and laying on of hands, God healed her. She felt relief from the pain and discomfort.

- Some people who were believing for jobs received what they asked for. One of our church members was believing for a specific position,  and God answered his prayer.

- It’s not just the big things that we could rejoice about. God doesn’t answer prayers just because they are desperate appeals. He also gives us pleasant surprises. A church member was simply asking God to bless him. That same week, somebody gave him a nice new watch.
